A US court has told the former media tycoon Conrad Black that he must report to jail in Florida on Monday to begin his six-and-a-half-year sentence for fraud and obstruction of justice.
Black was sentenced last year after a jury in Chicago found that he illegally received $3.5m.
Now, the US Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals has denied his request to remain free on bail pending his appeal.
The three judges said there was no realistic chance any appeals court would overturn the conviction on the charge of obstruction of justice.
