A 21-year-old woman is in a critical condition in Tralee General Hospital after getting into difficulty while kayaking in Co Kerry.
The woman, who's believed to be from Portarlington, was with a group from the UCD Kayak Club, when her boat overturned at lunchtime on the River Gaddagh.
She was unable to retrieve the kayak and is understood to have become stuck under a fallen tree branch.
She was given CPR and taken to Killarney hospital.
She has been transferred to Tralee General Hospital.
