Four police officers and a civilian have been killed in a suicide bomb blast outside a police station southwest of Baghdad.
The bomber targeted Rasheed police station in the town of Yusufiya in an area of small towns and orchards south of the capital.
Insurgent attacks in Iraq have decreased over the past six months, but militants have targeted US-backed neighbourhood patrols and police in recent weeks.
