Two firemen have been taken to Loughlinstown Hospital in south Co Dublin suffering from smoke inhalation while fighting a fire in Bray, Co Wicklow.
A fire broke out when a nebuliser caught fire in one of the rooms at a nursing home on Sidmonton Road in the town, shortly after 9pm tonight.
There were 47 patients in the nursing home when the fire broke out but none of them was injured.
The home was evacuated and everyone accounted for.
Three fire units, including two from Bray and Greystones, attended the fire. One remained at the scene late tonight.
