President Mary McAleese is completing her first full day of engagements on a state visit to New Zealand.

President Mary McAleese is completing her first full day of engagements on a state visit to New Zealand.

The President is accompanied by a 41 strong delegation, including the Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin, who has signed a film co-production agreement with New Zealand.

After laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the President travelled to the Parliament Building where she held talks with the Prime Minister, Helen Clarke.
