Twenty decapitated bodies have been found dumped near a police station today west of the city of Baquba in Iraq.
There was no immediate information on who the victims were.
Baquba, which is 65 km northeast of Baghdad, is a mixed Sunni and Shia city that has been riven by sectarian violence.
Earlier today, a suicide bomber riding a bicycle blew himself up in police headquarters in Baquba killing at least 28 people.
Brigadier General Kudair al-Timimi said another 20 people were wounded in the early morning attack.
The wounded included a woman and a child.
