Eight people have been killed in two co-ordinated bomb blasts on the southern outskirts of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
At least 22 people were also wounded in the explosions, which occurred in the suburb of Jisr Diyala.
The first bomb went off beside of crowd of labourers who had gathered to seek jobs and the second exploded a few minutes later as police arrived to investigate the first blast.
Medics at three hospitals in southern Baghdad are admitting the wounded.
