Northern Ireland Enterprise Minister Nigel Dodds has accused his Executive colleague Margaret Ritchie of hypocrisy over her deadline for the decomissioning of arms by the UDA.
Ms Ritchie is the Northern Ireland Social Development Minister, and an SDLP MLA.
She said last month the organisation must start to decommission its weapons by 9 October or face a cut of over £1m in funding to a loyalist project.
Mr Dodds said her position is in contrast with her party's failure to back any sanctions against the IRA when it was still engaged in violence.
