The Garda Ombudsman Commission is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 32-year-old man in Dublin last Thursday.
Keith Murphy was arrested on Thomas Street in Dublin, at around 2pm on 20 September.
He was released from Kevin Street Garda Station around 3.20pm.
The Ombudsman wants to pin-point Mr Murphy's movements between 3.20pm and 7pm that day.
Mr Murphy was discovered near the area of Christchurch Cathedral and he died later at St James' Hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed Mr Murphy's arrest or know of his movements after his release is asked to contact the Garda Ombudsman on 8716664.
