Gardaí in Co Kildare are investigating a raid at Newbridge Greyhound Stadium last night.
Three men, one of whom is believed to have been armed with a shotgun, entered the stadium at around 11.55pm.
They took a small amount of cash before making their escape by hijacking a hackney taxi outside the stadium.
The car was later found abandoned a short distance away.
No-one was injured in the incident.
