Two men being questioned in connection with a fatal hit and run driving incident near Killaloe in Co Clare at the weekend have been released without charge.
A third man was released without charge last night.
A file is now being prepared for the DPP.
89-year-old John Cooney died after he was struck by a car in Ogonnelloe in Killaloe on Saturday night.
The retired farmer was hit as he returned to his car after attending 8pm mass in the village and died at the scene.
