Gardaí are following a definite line of inquiry following the seizure of more than €400,000 worth of drugs in Dublin.
Significant quantities of cocaine, ecstasy and herbal cannabis were discovered in at Westend Gate Apartments in Tallaght following a number of searches in the area late last night.
Gardaí say materials used for the preparation of drugs for supply, including weighing scales, a compressing machine and plastic wrapping, were also seized.
One apartment has been preserved for technical examination and an number of suspects are currently being sought in connection with the seizure.
The seizure is part of an ongoing surveillance operation by the Tallaght District Drugs Unit and Detective Unit.
No arrests have yet been made.
Separately, a 35-year-old South African man has been arrested at Dublin Airport following the seizure of 18kg of herbal cannabis with a potential street value of over €200,000.
The man had arrived into Dublin on a flight from Johannesburg via Zurich.
The drugs, which were packed in the man's suitcase, were detected by a sniffer dog.
The man is being detained at Santry Garda Station under drug trafficking legislation and investigations are continuing.
