A 48-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering his wife at their home in Dublin on Tuesday morning.
David Burke, of Laverna Dale in Carpenterstown, was charged with the murder of his wife at Dublin District Court this morning. He has been remanded in custody
Jean Gilbert died after she was stabbed at her home in west Dublin on 28 August.
The 46-year-old was a mother of three children, aged three, six and nine.
