Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a woman near the Baldonnell Road in west Dublin this morning.
They were called to the road at 4.30am by a man who had come across a woman who said she had been sexually assaulted.
The Baldonnell Road from St Francis' football pitch to the Baldonnell Industrial Estate was closed for a time while a forensic examination took place.
It has since reopened.
