Three units of the fire brigade are at the scene of a major fire at derelict buildings in the centre of Longford town.
The blaze broke out at a number of warehouses behind the courthouse area of the main street.
There are no reports of injuries, but significant damage has been caused to the premises.
Fire services are trying to stop the blaze from spreading to a nearby shop.
