Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident which occurred last night in Clondalkin in Dublin.
Two shots were fired through the front windows of a house at Willow Avenue at around 10.50pm.
The two people in the house at the time both escaped injury.
A sawn-off shotgun, which was dropped by a man as he ran from the scene, is now being examined by gardaí.
Both occupants of the house were taken to Tallaght Hospital suffering from shock.
No arrests have yet been made and investigations are ongoing.
