Two men have appeared before Tallaght District Court on assault and firearms charges in connection with the shooting of a man in Dublin on Wednesday.
Jason Nolan and Jonathan Dunne were charged with assault causing serious harm to 22-year-old Ian Kenny at Lakelands Road in Stillorgan, Co Dublin.
Mr Nolan, 20, with an address at 121 Walkinstown Ave and Mr Dunne, with an address at 157 Windmill Rd in Crumlin, were also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Both men were remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison to appear again in court 13 July.
Mr Kenny remains in a critical condition in hospital.
