A man in his 20s remains in a critical condition in hospital following a shooting incident in south Dublin yesterday.
The man was shot in the head whilst in a car with two other men in front of a shopping area on Lakelands Road in Stillorgan. He was then thrown out of the vehicle.
A short time later, a gun and a quantity of cannabis were recovered in a burned out car in Dargle Wood in Knocklyon.
The attack is understood to be linked to a feud between two drug trafficking gangs.
Gardaí are questioning two men, aged 21 and 22, in relation to the attack.
They can be held for up to 72 hours.
