Police in the North are investigating an incident in which an official from the Ulster Council of the GAA was robbed of the takings from today's Monaghan Derry match at Casement Park in West Belfast.
The official had left the ground at half time and was driving between Dungannon and Ballygawley when he was stopped by a number of men at the Eglish roundabout.
He was threatened by the robbers who beat him around the legs with hammers before making off with his car and the cash takings.
The PSNI say a substantial amount of money was taken in the robbery and they have appealed to the public for information about the incident.
