A 16-year-old girl who had been questioned by gardaí in connection with an attack on a woman in Blessington, Co Wicklow, has been released without charge.
A file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The incident took place at a house in Manorkilbride in Blessington at around 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.
A 43-year-old woman had to be taken to Naas General Hospital with what is believed to have been stab wounds.
Her condition is being described as stable.
