The Association of Secondary Teachers, Ireland, has said secondary school teachers are now subject to unique levels of public scrutiny and accountability.
The teachers' union made its comments following today's publication by the Department of Education and Science of 176 school inspection reports on its website, including over 60 evaluations of primary and post primary schools.
The reports are published on the website at regular intervals.
