A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to five years in prison for drugs offences in Co Westmeath.
Jonathan Mulvaney of Grange Village in Mullingar, was convicted of the possession of up to €30,000 worth of cocaine and heroin with intent to sell.
Mulvaney, who has been dealing in drugs in the Mullingar area for the last eight years, was arrested by gardaí in Kinnegad and Mullingar during 2004 and 2005.
He told the court he was a chronic drug addict who had been taking drugs since he was 12-years-old.
