Three men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of Bryan McGlynn in Derry in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The three are all from the Derry area and are believed to be in their late teens and early 20s.

They were arrested in the Fountain estate in Derry just before 9am this morning.

Bryan McGlynn, who was 28, originally from Strabane and living in Derry, died when he was shot at point blank range by masked men who entered his home in the Fountain Hill area of the city.

His girlfriend, who was also in the house at the time, was uninjured but severely traumatised by the incident.

Police are investigating if the murder was linked to Mr McGlynn's work, as he was a doorman at a number of nightclubs in the city until recent weeks.
