Gardaí are investigating the theft of a large quantity of fresh pre-packed meat from a van at Alexandereid, Navan, Co Meath overnight.
The owner parked the van outside his house at 10.30pm last night and at 8am this morning discovered the contents were missing.
The stolen property included Greenpak Bacon, McCarney's Cooked Ham, Olhausen food products and Farney food products.
