A woman charged with the murder of her teenage daughter appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court this morning.
46-year-old Lynn Gibbs of Killure, Gowran, Co Kilkenny, was remanded in custody to Mountjoy Women's Prison to appear again before the court on 22 June.
Last Tuesday, she was charged with killing 16-year-old Ciara at the family home in Gowran last November.
Gardaí told the court today they expect that the book of evidence will be ready by 22 June and that the case can proceed.
Defense Counsel had no objection to the continuing remand, which was granted by Judge Clare Leonard.
