19 people have been killed and around 40 others wounded in a car bomb explosion in central Baghdad.
Police said at least ten cars were set on fire in the business area of Sinak.
A convoy carrying US State Department officials was attacked by gunmen in the same area four days ago, when US military helicopters helped Iraqi security forces to repel the attack.
Four civilians were killed in that incident.
