A woman from Co Kilkenny has been charged with the murder of her 16-year-old daughter last November.
Lynn Gibbs, 46, a psychiatrist from Killure in Gowran, appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court in Dublin this morning.
She was charged with the murder of her daughter, Ciara Gibbs, at the family home last year.
The girl's body was found by her father and brother shortly before 10am on 26 November. Her mother was also at the scene.
Ms Gibbs had nothing to say in answer to the charge.
Judge Clare Leonard remanded her in custody to Mountjoy Prison until 29 May.
