Cocaine with an estimated street value of €300,000 has been seized by Customs officers at Cork Airport.
Officers from the Customs service seized approximately 4kg of the drug from two passangers, both of whom are German passport holders.
The couple, a man and a woman, had arrived in Cork from Nairobi via Amsterdam.
The cocaine was concealed in the lining of both passangers' luggage.
The man and the woman arrested in connection with the drugs seizure remain in custody at Togher Garda Station.
