Two men involved in the killing of another man, whose body was found in Limerick city in May last year, will be sentenced on June 8.
Keith Ryan from the Farranshone area of the city was found beaten to death under Shannon Bridge on May 4 2006.
A post mortem carried out on the 23-year-old by Dr Marie Cassidy found it likely that Mr Ryan had been punched and kicked in the head and that he had been stamped on a number of times.
Tony O'Brien, 24, of Baker Place in Limerick, who had been drinking with Mr Ryan on the steps of the bridge the night before, had denied his manslaughter, but was found guilty by a jury at Limerick Circuit Court.
A second man, Thomas Ryan of Shanabooly Road, Ballynanty, Limerick, had admitted the manslaughter of Mr Ryan.
Both men will be sentenced at Limerick Circuit Court.
