€1m worth of counterfeit goods seized

Gardaí from Carlow/Kildare seized counterfeit goods worth €1m after a search of a business premises in Ballymount Industrial Estate last Friday.

Gardaí from Carlow/Kildare seized counterfeit goods with an estimated value of €1m after a planned search of a business premises in Ballymount Industrial Estate last Friday.

Two men, one in his 20s and the other in his 40s, were arrested and detained for questioning during the Garda operation.

They have both been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Items seized included tracksuits, jumpers, jeans and runners.
