A 64-year-old man has appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court charged with a series of sexual offences against children dating back almost a decade.
The man is accused of rape, unlawful imprisonment and giving drugs or alcohol to children to gain carnal knowledge.
He has also been linked to gross indecency, indecent assault and taking indecent images of children.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 1998 and 2003 in Belfast, Coleraine, Lisburn and Newtownards.
At Belfast Magistrates' Court, the man was remanded in custody.
He is due in court again to appear by video link at the end of the month.
