The body of a 54-year-old man has been recovered from Two Mile Gate, north of Killaloe in Co Clare.
The operation was carried out by coastguard and search and rescue teams at around 5.30pm yesterday evening.
The man's body was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, where a post mortem is expected to be carried out today.
