A post mortem examination has been carried out on the body of a man found unconscious with serious head injuries at a garda station in Cork city last Friday.
The 51-year-old Russian died in hospital yesterday.
He had been arrested in the Victoria Cross Road area of Cork city and taken to Togher Garda Station following a report of criminal damage.
Gardaí say the results are not being released as an investigation into the man's death is ongoing.
