Up to 23 people have been killed in a series of suicide bomb attacks in Iraq.
In Baghdad, three people were killed in a restaurant near the heavily fortified Green Zone.
Ten people were killed and another 20 were wounded in a suicide car bomb attack in the northern city of Mosul.
And in Baquba, a suicide car bomber rammed his vehicle into a police building, killing ten people and wounding ten others.
Halt to barrier construction
Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has said that he has ordered a halt to the construction of a barrier separating a Sunni enclave from surrounding Shia areas in Baghdad.
The challenge to the US initiative came as Mr al-Maliki began a regional tour to shore up support from mostly Sunni Arab nations for his Shia-dominated government.
The US military announced last week that it was building a three-mile-long and 12ft high concrete wall in Azamiyah, a Sunni stronghold in northern Baghdad.
It said the purpose of the wall is to prevent violence between Sunni and Shia militants.
Farid Sabri of the Iraqi Islamic Party has warned that the barrier will increase sectarian tensions.
