A 40-year-old man arrested yesterday in connection with a stabbing incident in Sligo Town has been released without charge.
The 29-year-old victim, who was stabbed twice, is in a stable condition in hospital.
The incident occurred at a house at Garavogue Villas early yesterday morning.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
