The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland was today due to convene a public hearing to review applications for a Christian radio station.
The hearing for the new station on the AM band was being held at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.
It was expected to afford the applicant groups an opportunity to present their case for the licence in a public forum and to allow the commission to clarify certain issues in the applicants' submissions.
The BCI is expected to announce its decision next month.
