Gardaí in Limerick have arrested five people as part of the investigation into the murder of 26-year-old Thomas Moran in the city last November.
Mr Moran's body was found on waste ground beside a house in John Carew Park in Southill on the morning of 13 November, 2006.
Gardaí are questioning three women and two men in relation to Mr Moran's murder.
They are being detained at a number of stations in Limerick city and county.
