Gardaí in Longford are still trying to establish the identity of a woman whose body was found in the town at the weekend.
She was around five feet tall, with short brown hair and was wearing a navy 'LA Gear' tracksuit.
The woman was in her 30s and of Eastern European origin.
A man in his 50s arrested last night in connection with a burglary close to where the body was found on Kilashee Street is being treated in hospital.
Earlier, gardaí said they were confident that the woman's injuries to her face and body were not the cause of her death.
Superintendent Kevin Donoghue said further tests would help to clarify how she died.
It has not yet been established if the woman was involved in the burglary at the offices of an electrical contractors' firm.
Door-to-door inquiries took place today at houses in the area where the woman's body was discovered.
Her body was found in a laneway yesterday morning by a man out walking his dog.
