At least 26 people have been killed and 54 wounded following two near-simultaneous bomb blasts in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The bombs exploded on Mutanabi Street in the Bab al-Muadham area on the east bank of the Tigris river.
Iraqi and US forces are in the third week of a major security crackdown in Baghdad aimed at stemming sectarian violence.
The big increase in the number of troops on the streets has reduced the number of so-called death squad killings but car bomb attacks remain a problem.
