Gardaí in Dundalk, Co Louth, are investigating a shooting incident in the town.
Two shots were fired at the front door of a house in the Duffy's Terrace area, off the Castletown Road, at around 1.15am this morning.
A number of men were in the house at the time, but nobody was injured.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
