Cadbury Ireland has announced it is recalling thousands of its Easter eggs because they do not carry the correct nut allergy labelling.
People with nut allergies are advised not to eat the selection of eggs concerned because they were made on a line which makes products with nuts in them.
The company said the products were 'perfectly safe' to eat for people who do not have nut allergies.
The recall involves: selected Easter eggs; Easter Chick Novelty Egg (185g); Crème Egg Mini Bag (58g).
Customers are asked to return the products to Cadbury Ireland, Coolock, Dublin 5, for a full refund or ring the company's helpline on 1800 678708.
