Man appears in court over Limerick murder

A 20-year-old student has appeared at a special sitting of the District Court in Listowel in Co Kerry tonight charged in connection with an investigation into the death of 59-year-old Liam O'Donovan in Croom, Co Limerick, three weeks ago.

Joseph Bustin of Towerfield, Croom, was charged with the murder of Mr O'Donovan on 4 November.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the District Court in Listowel again next Tuesday.
