One News: Barry Cummins reports from Dublin City Coroner's Court on evidence at the inquest into the death of Terence Wheelock, who died in hospital after being found hanging in a garda station cell
The State Pathologist has told the Dublin City Coroner's Court that a man who was found hanging in a cell at Store Street Garda Station in Dublin died over three months later in hospital as a result of pneumonia.
Separately a friend of 20-year-old Terence Wheelock alleged at the inquest that Mr Wheelock had been assaulted while being arrested by gardaí.
However, gardaí deny any mistreatment of Mr Wheelock.
