A package of measures to assist the Moyross area of Limerick is set to be announced in the coming days.
The Government initiative was approved at today's Cabinet meeting, and is understood to include measures relating to social development and policing among others.
The proposals were brought to Cabinet by the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste, with the support of the Minister for Environment, Dick Roche, and Eamon Ó Cuiv, the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
