Police in West Belfast are investigating an attack on a 15-year-old girl who was raped twice after being confronted by two youths while walking with friends early this morning.
The victim was with three teenage boys on Blacks Road just before 3am this morning when the group was confronted by two youths, armed with an iron bar and a screwdriver.
The girl, who is from England, was in Belfast on holiday. Police say the attacker phoned the victim's mother in England to tell her what he had done.
The girl was assaulted by one of the youths in a nearby petrol forecourt, while the other prevented her friends from going to her assistance.
She was then attacked again in the driveway of the Colin Valley Golf Centre.
