A man has been shot dead at a house in north Belfast.
It is claimed a second man was injured in the shooting, which happened in Wheatfield Crescent off the Crumlin Road.
Locals said the shooting was connected to a loyalist paramilitary feud. The dead man has been named locally as Stephen Paul.
Police cordoned off streets in the area as they began their investigation into the murder.
There have been ongoing tensions between the UVF and the rival LVF which have resulted in the deaths of two people in the past month.
Earlier this week, the PSNI came in for criticism after UVF supporters expelled LVF-linked families from a Belfast housing estate.
