Nine News: David Davin-Power, Political Correspondent, reports as the bill is passed after being substantially amended by the Justice Minister
The Dáil has passed all stages of the Garda Síochána Bill by 58 votes to 41.
The bill was substantially amended by the Minister for Justice following the recommendations of the second interim report of the Morris Tribunal.
Although the original bill had been passed by the Seanad, the amended bill must go back to that chamber for approval of those changes.
