The US military has said that two soldiers were killed in Iraq when their helicopter crashed after being shot down north of Baghdad late yesterday.
A statement said the soldiers were killed when their helicopter crashed near Baquba after two US helicopters came under small arms fire.
The statement said one of the helicopters crashed while the other landed safely at a US base.
