A Ryanair pilot suspended after taking High Court action against the airline is to return to flying duties tomorrow.
John Goss is challenging disciplinary procedures against him and succeeded last February in getting a High Court injunction preventing his suspension.
But Ryanair still did not allow him return to work, claiming that Mr Goss's concentration levels could be affected by the stress of the court case.
Mr Goss will now be piloting a flight to Gatwick tomorrow after the High Court heard today that he had passed another medical examination, this time on behalf of the Irish Aviation Authority's chief medical officer.
Mr Justice Barry White said he will rule next Wednesday on whether the airline’s chief executive, Michael O'Leary, and two other senior members of staff were in contempt for not returning Mr Goss to work earlier.
