Five people campaigning against the invasion of Iraq were arrested following a protest at the Irish embassy in London today.

The protestors, three men and two women, chained themselves to the building in Grosvenor Place which is near Buckingham Palace shortly after 9am this morning.

They were objecting to the charges brought against protestors following damage to a US military plane at Shannon Airport.

Other protesters hung a banner reading 'Pit Stop Ploughshares Not Guilty' outside the building at Grosvenor place.
